So we came home from vacation and found we had moths in our kitchen. Not just a few moths but ALOT of them. Seemed like hundreds!!! With further investigation, found we also had these white worms on the ceiling. We thought we had something dead in the ceiling.

Nope!!! Wasn't anything dead.... they were coming from our pantry where we store our cereals and dry goods. It was crazy when we opened up the cabinet. More and more moths came out the cabinet.

We immediately began looking at the dry goods and found them inside the bags also. From doing a little research, the moths are in the grains, etc and when the temperature gets to a hatching stage, then they come alive. It's scary to know they are in our foods. Here are typical foods larvae feed on include:

• cereals, grains, rice and pasta

• flours and meals

• dried fruits and dehydrated vegetables

• candy and chocolate

• nuts and seeds (including bird seed)

• dry pet food

So to make a long story short..... This is what we did to get rid or at least start to get rid of the moth problem.
